Ilaria Brivio is a postdoc at the NBIA and member of the Discovery Center.
She carried out her university studies at the University of Padua (Italy) and subsequently obtained her PhD in 2016 from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain).

Ilaria's research mostly focuses on the use of Effective Field Theories to study the phenomenology of electroweak interactions and the properties of the Higgs boson. Her interests are quite broad and related to all the main open questions of particle physics, from the nature of Higgs boson to neutrinos, flavor and Dark Matter. A relevant component of her research is the development of new ideas and theoretical tools to improve the interpretation and understanding of experimental data.
