NBIA post-doc Pablo Benítez-Llambay receives Carlos M. Varsavsky Award

Pablo Benítez-Llambay has received the Carlos M. Varsavsky Award for his PhD thesis entitled "Planet-Disk Interactions: Development and Employment of a Numerical Code". This distinction is awarded every two years to the best PhD thesis in Astronomy and Astrophysics in Argentina jointly by the Argentine Astronomical Society and the  Varsavsky Foundation.  The award consists of an honorary medal, a diploma, and a 5000 USD prize to cover travel expenses for conferences and scientific collaborations. The ceremony took place during the 59th meeting of the Argentine Astronomical Society during September 19-23 2016, in San Juan, Argentina.
