Title: Numerical Relativity modeling of gravitational wave sources in the multi-messenger era
Abstract: Since the first detection of gravitational waves associated with electromagnetic counterparts from a binary neutron star merger on August 17, 2017, the binary neutron star merger became a leading player in multimessenger astronomy. Numerical relativity is a chosen way to interpret and predict binary neutron star mergers. In this talk, I will introduce the current status of numerical relativity modeling of binary neutron star mergers and its application to the observation.
