Title: Dissecting environmental effects with eccentric gravitational wave sources 

Abstract: Eccentric gravitational-wave (GW) sources have a richer dynamics and a richer GW signal with respect to their circular counterparts. I will show how this can drastically improve LVK/LISA’s capacity to detect GW phase shifts caused by environmental effects and detecting novel, subtle couplings between GW sources and their environments. I will then discuss the advances in waveform modelling that are required to extract the maximum amount of physics from eccentric signals.
