NBIA signs Memorandum of Understanding with ICISE in Vietnam
International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) in Quy Nhon, Vietnam, serves as a unique science and education, welcoming national and international conferences, specialized professional workshops, as well as selected thematic schools, in particular for PhD-students. Its spectacular location on the coast of Vietnam, its striking architecture, and the lush tropical gardens surrounding the monumental building makes it a perfect location for international science meetings. The building comprises a 350-seat auditorium, a conference room, as wells as smaller seminar rooms along with offices for study and research. These spaces showcase spectacular views out over the sea and nearby mountains. The association «Rencontres du Vietnam» under the direction of its founder Jean Tran Thanh Van, has developed a close network of international cooperation for scientific research around the entire world for almost 20 years, and ICISE must be considered the crowning achievement.
The Memorandum of Understanding between NBIA and ICISE focuses on exchanges of scientists, joint organization of research programs, organization of joint conferences, workshops, symposia, seminars, and PhD-schools. This particularly strengthens NBIA's ties with scientists in Southeast Asia and surrounding regions. Work is underway to organize a first joint scientific meeting at ICISE during 2026.
