Weria research focuses on the application and development of computational microscopes. Using multiscale schemes, he couples molecular interactions to biological forms at the microscale. His last methodological development allowed for simulations of mitochondrial membranes with realistic size and SARS-CoV-2 virion envelope at the near atomistic level. In the dawn of exascale computing resources, his goal is to simulate cell size structures with a certain level of molecular details.
