Gaia Fabj obtained her M.Sc. degree at the University of Heidelberg in 2021. She is currently a PhD student in the gravitational astrophysics group at NBIA. She is working under the supervision of Johan Samsing on the formation and evolution of black-hole binaries in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) accretion disks in order to investigate the AGN channel for gravitational-wave detection.
