Subodh Patil has joined the faculty at the Lorentz Instiute for Theoretical Physics at Leiden University as an assistant professor, where he has started his own group to continue working on questions in theoretical cosmology and its interface with particle physics phenomenology. His current research interests are focused on phenomenological implications of distortions of the cosmic microwave background spectrum, and cosmological and astrophysical probes of gravitational wave backgrounds and their implications for the early universe.
